One question I was asked after C.C. got roughed up by the O's on opening day? Is it too early to panic? Of course it is.
Give the Yanks at least another week.
I watched pieces of Monday's game, in between feeding kids, folding laundry and sparring with the IRS over my lost tax documents. (I had the day off, but wished I could go into work to relax).
Jeter had a good day out of the lead-off spot and Brett Gardner looked OK in the nine hole. The Yanks do, however, seem a little old with Damon, Posada and Mutsui all one hamstring pull away from an extended stay on the DL.
Sabathia is going to be just fine. He hit 95 on the gun, I noticed, and he seems more like a warm-weather pitcher.
Anyone know what C.C. stands for? Is it:
A. Crooked cap.
B. Cool cash.
C. Carsten Charles.
D. All of the above.
I'll provide the answer in tomorrow's blog. Speaking of this blog, I'll spend most of the time writing about the Yanks but I also plan on including anything I find interesting, like this ultimate April Fool's prank
